Hi, friend! I’m so excited you’re here. Truly. Whether you found this space through my books, a friend, social media, or you just happened to stumble in, I’m grateful you stopped by. Growth With Kelcie is a place where faith takes root, hope grows tall, and fruit blossoms in everyday life.

How It All Started

About three years ago, I hit a moment in life where I felt like I was drowning. I was a brand‑new mom trying to stay afloat, juggling exhaustion, emotions, and the weight of doing everything alone. Motherhood is beautiful, but it’s also hard — especially when loneliness creeps in.

And then came that familiar tug in my chest. The one that whispers, You’re not alone.   The flicker that reminds you, You are loved. I remember the day so clearly. I was rocking my sleeping baby, doomscrolling through TikTok, when a short clip of a Christian song popped up. In that tiny moment, God met me right where I was. I had been running from Him since I was seventeen, telling myself I’d come back after I “lived my life.” Five years later, I was basically a single mom battling anxiety and depression… and yet He reached out anyway. So gently. So clearly. And from then on, I knew I needed Him.

Growing Through Grace

Of course, no one becomes the perfect Christian overnight. I was still wearing things I shouldn’t, watching things I shouldn’t, and reading things I definitely shouldn’t. But as I grew closer to God, those desires faded. I didn’t want them anymore.

I stopped reading explicit romance novels — even the ones with amazing plots — and switched to Christian romance. They were good, but many felt geared toward an older generation. And that’s when it hit me: I’ve been making up stories in my head since I was a kid… surely I can write one.

So I did. I put pen to paper, and it felt incredible watching the world inside my mind come alive. Even better, those stories were faith‑filled, uplifting, and full of hope — the kind of stories I wished I had when I needed encouragement the most.

Why “Growth With Kelcie”?

I chose this name because we never stop growing in Christ. There is always room for deeper roots, stronger faith, and more fruit. As believers, we’re called to prune our spiritual gardens so God can transform us from the inside out. Growth is a lifelong journey, and I’m honored to walk it with you.
